OUR SERVICES
Our services enable the trade ecosystem to support those at the bottom of the chain-mainly vulnerable communities and workers at risk from inequality. Our services are designed to approach every intervention through inquiry, an inclusive and non-disruptive structure built on relationship and trust.
We recognise that there are imbalances within trade systems, which are often due to unjust practices. Many of these are driven by exploitative extraction of natural resources, technology that favour a minority section, cultural choices, and monopolised access to knowledge. We focus on correcting these imbalances in trade systems by incorporating an overlay of gender, climate, and socio-economic lenses into our services that highlight the core issues and provide solutions that promote greater equity and alternate choices within trade systems.
Business and Human Rights
Businesses are an integral part of trade and development, they must be driven by policies that uphold human rights and the dignity of
labour. We endeavor to facilitate best practices and policies across the trading system, irrespective of the business size.
We collaborate with global brands, domestic businesses, and MNCs that are equally committed and are grounded by business principles defined by Human Rights and Human Rights Due Diligence. We collectively promote the implementation of these principles and actions across supply chains including occupational health and safety, access to labour rights, and enable overall well-being.
We leverage our insight into National and International labour laws,
hands-on experience in addressing complex labour-intensive supply
chain issues, and learnings in helping businesses provide gender and
environment-sensitive workspace and systems.

Capacity Building
We integrate participatory modules in implementation and advisory work
to facilitate program effectiveness and empower producers and workers
with the required knowledge. The participatory modules also enable
deeper engagements with the participants and facilitates the participants
to take ownership of their own learning.
The Cascade Capacity Building approach led by trained associates and
resources supports primary programme participants to improve capacity in
agronomy, governance, business skills, gender, and decent work.
We utilise the adult learning principles – Experience, Reflection, Learning, and Action in various capacity-building efforts. We also support the programme participants with our resource materials, facilitation guides, and detailed approach to designing and delivering training sessions. We provide post-training support that helps organisations apply the knowledge and skills gained for better implementation on the ground. Positive feedback from the participants and clients reinforces our belief in our capacity to deliver results.

Evaluation (M&E and evidence building)
Our extensive experience in managing and implementation of development programmes in South Asia and East Africa, helps us in assisting other organisations in programme evaluation and developing a robust Monitoring and Evaluation(M&E) system.
We utilise vigorous quantitative and qualitative M&E methods, apply Theory of Change frameworks and tools to measure impact and fine-tune programmes. We compile views and data from various stakeholders to bring multiple perspectives that enable in-depth programme analysis.
Our evolved evaluation methodology generates key learnings, bringing in the insights and voice of the target communities and are rooted to aid design of forthcoming programmes and projects.
