Study to identify successful MOVCDNER models

Purpose: Analyse some of the most successful organic and natural farming initiatives for 20 agriculture commodities implemented under the Mission Organic Value Chain Development for the North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER).
Action: We identified best practices across the North Eastern states and developed an action plan to replicate or upscale two initiatives – Joha Rice and Turmeric, under the National Mission for Natural Farming and MOVCDNER in Assam. The action plan outlined strategies for strengthening these value chains by improving cultivation practices, enhancing market access, and building robust support systems for farmers.
