Purpose: To create a model for promoting inclusive supply chain in the leather footwear cluster including informal women workers and ensuring compliance as per global standards.
Action: The informal women’s collective received training and handholding support on critical areas such as Occupational Health and Safety, Financial Literacy, Negotiation Skills, and Governance. The project built the organisational capacity and established a system for more inclusive and sustainable supply chain in the region.
